Frequently asked questions.
How does the commission process work?
It all begins with an idea that you’d like to pursue and you fill out the contact form. We will discuss details such as construction, concerns you may have, costs, and agreements. Once that has been completed, the build phase begins where I will construct said idea. We will stay in touch, just to confirm everything is as you’d like and to make any changes along the way. At the end the commission will be shipped to your door!
How much does it cost?
Short answer, I don’t know. That all really depends on how complex the design is, what materials you’d like it to be constructed from, skills required to actually make it all, and overall time frame. I will try my best to keep the price very reasonable as a solo maker, but feel free to voice your concerns and we can work something out.
How are payments handled?
Every project cost will be divided into 2 installments: an initial invoice and final invoice. In order for the project to begin, your request must be at the top of my build queue. At that point, I will contact you and send you the first invoice (which is 50% of the total commission cost). At the completion of the project, I will have you verify quality and send the final invoice (remaining 50% of the commission + shipping + taxes). The final numbers will be stated on the agreement form prior to any work being done, so there will be no surprises.
How does the queue system work?
After we have finalized our design plan, I will send over an agreement form that both parties will sign to the terms and conditions stated on this website and in writing as legal protection for the both of us. Once signed, your request will be placed in the queue of projects based on first-come-first-serve basis. If the queue exceeds a certain number to which I cannot in good faith take on more work, I will lock the queue until it has been depleted. You will know your place in queue prior to signing anything.
Where do you ship to?
Currently, I can only support customers within the United States, as that is where I am located. In the future, I may expand to the international audience.
